Memorial Ceremony Held in His Honor

Remembering a Life of Service
Colleagues and family members reflected on Kilcullen’s dedication to policing and his reputation for treating people with compassion and respect. Officers described him as someone who had a rare ability to connect with others, even in difficult situations.
His daughter, Katie Kilcullen, who was just four years old when he died, encouraged those who knew him to continue sharing stories that keep his memory alive.
Lasting Impact on the Community
Members of the Eugene Police Department emphasized that Kilcullen’s legacy continues to influence how officers approach their work, particularly in terms of safety and community interaction.
